Limescale can build up in your coffee grinder over time, but Urnex 19-FDP-FC900-06 Biocaf 31.7 oz. coffee grinder cleaner / descaling powder can eliminate it in just a couple of simple steps! Made with phosphate-free and odorless ingredients, this descaling powder breaks down limescale that forms inside and around the heating elements of your coffee grinder machine.

Whether you're looking to extend your grinder's lifespan or just make your coffee taste better, this cleaner / descaling powder is the perfect solution! It can be used to clean coffee brewers, espresso machines, and kettles! Each bottle contains approximately 18-32 uses depending on your machine.

Instructions for Household Coffee Makers:
- Add 1 oz. (28g) of decaling powder in 32 oz. (1 liter) of warm water in a vessel outside of the machine. Stir to dissolve.
- Add the descaling solution to the machine's water reservoir and brew through the machine.
- Refill the machine's water reservoir with water ONLY (no descaling powder). Brew the water and repeat this step twice more to ensure no descaler remains in the machine

Instructions for Commercial Equipment with Removable Boilers:
1. Remove boiler from machine and place in a large bucket
2. In a separate vessel, create a descaling solution using 50g (1.7 oz.) of descaling powder for each liter of warm water; stir to dissolve
3. Add descaling solution to the bucket, using enough solution to cover the boiler
4. Hold for 30 minutes
5. Remove boiler and rinse thoroughly with fresh water
6. Allow boiler to dry before reinserting into machine

Refund & Shipping Policy

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 30 days of your purchase by emailing contact@lacosechacoffee.com to arrange a return and refund. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Shipping FAQ

How long will it take my order to arrive?
We ship all orders every Monday & Thursday, primarily with USPS Priority Mail (sometimes Ground Advantage for eligible orders) or FedEx. Orders typically arrive 3-5 days after shipment confirmation but may be delayed due to circumstances outside our control.

What if my order arrives damaged?
Contact us at contact@lacosechacoffee.com with your order number and a photo of the damaged item and we’ll send you a replacement and work with you to file a claim with USPS.

What if my order arrives incorrect or is missing items?
Contact us at contact@lacosechacoffee.com with your order number and a description of what is wrong or missing from your order. We’ll make sure to get the right items to you.

What if my order has been marked as delivered, but I haven't received it?
First, double-check the shipping address on your order confirmation to ensure the order was shipped to the correct address. If it’s correct, sometimes the postal carrier left the package somewhere discreet to prevent it from being stolen, such as a neighbor’s house, on your behalf or the postal carrier marked the package as delivered a few days in advance.

If the package hasn’t shown up after 5 business days (from the time the package is marked “delivered”), try contacting your local post office or emailing us at contact@lacosechacoffee.com. (We’ll try our best to help, but once the package is out of our hands, there’s not much we can do!

Can I change my address?
If you catch that you placed your order to be shipped to the wrong address, shoot us an email (contact@lacosechacoffee.com) ASAP with your order number and the correct address. If we have not yet shipped the order, we’ll be able to make the necessary change, but once the order is out for shipment, we can’t make any changes.

Returns

You have 30 days to return an item from the purchase date. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on coffee because it is a perishable item. To be eligible for a return on all other items, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it in and must be in the original packaging. 

Refunds

Once we have received your item and it has been inspected we will promptly notify you of the status of your refund. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you're unsure if your issue qualifies for an exchange, please email us at contact@lacosechacoffee.com.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are non-refundable. Additionally, please note that you are responsible for paying for the return shipping costs of your item.
